David founded K+A in 1980. Before establishing the company, his experience included art and creative direction, account service, and studio management. Having worked with major clients such as The Walt Disney Company, the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, the Anaheim Angels, Toyota Motor Sales, Bandai America, and numerous others, David has extensive expertise in the entertainment, sports and automotive industries, and has directed major projects in America and Canada. David attended Chouinard Art Institute and California Institute of the Arts.
Sandy joined K+A in 1984. His twenty-five year career in the graphics industry includes art and creative direction, copywriting, print and production management, marketing management and account supervision.
At K+A Sandy manages account services for corporate accounts that have included Toyota Motor Sales, Taco Bell, Cendant Mobility, Nissan North America, Coldwell Banker and U.S. Trust Company, as well as a variety of electronic entertainment accounts including Interplay, THQ, Encore and Navarre. He assists his clients with branding, strategic planning, marketing, and overall project management services.
Patrick joined K+A in 1992 after receiving a BFA in Graphic Design from Cal State University at Fullerton. As the senior creative, Patrick directs many high-visibility projects, and manages the K+A design staff. Patrick’s capabilities include extensive experience in design and production of packaging, collateral, advertising, sales support, and marketing communications materials, as well as development of branding and corporate identity campaigns. He is also accomplished in conventional and digital illustration, digital retouching and digital production.
Since graduating Cal State Long Beach in 1997, Vince has been a creative lead for several Orange County design firms before joining the K+A team in 2002. As an Art Director, Vince combines creative thinking, fine art skills and digital imaging expertise to produce successful design projects and visual branding campaigns. He is also committed to developing creative talent and furthering the use of digital technology as a part-time instructor in the Graphic Design Extension Program at the University of California, Irvine.
Michael joined K+A in January of 2003 after many years as a graphic designer in the video game and entertainment industry. His experience includes art direction, computer production, illustration, photographic retouching, and prepress. In addition, Michael has expertise in copywriting, web graphics, and storyboarding. He graduated with both a BFA in Graphic Design and a BA in Film Screenwriting from Chapman University.
Dave joined K+A in 2002 bringing with him professional experience in traditional and digital illustration, design, and print production. He performs essential tasks in support of the creative process, including design, production, photography and illustration. He also provides technical and administrative support to the Art Directors and Account Managers. Dave is also currently pursuing a degree in Art/Illustration.
